| My little sweetie pie (at "almost 3") and me | Lee, Jordan and I at the beach - I love my family! | Lee and I - "music promo shot" from 1997 | ||||||
I am first and foremost a MOTHER to an incredible 61/2 year old girl named Jordan. She is the greatest joy of my life, every minute of every day-I am soooo blessed! I am also a mom to our scrumptious Cocker Spaniel, Teddi Bear-he is a great joy too! I am a WIFE to a very special man who I also dearly adore (and who did this web site for me), Lee Pollard (see the link to our home-based computer business on the "links" page). Again I am truly blessed! I am a DAUGHTER, a SISTER, a FRIEND, an ANIMAL LOVER, a NATURE LOVER, a SINGER (and although I am still working on it, if not in this life, then in my next, I will do this professionally)!!! I was even one of the lucky few to have been a paid environmental and civil rights ACTIVIST and LAWYER for many years (pre-Jordan). I loved my "work" but was very clear that when I became a mom I wanted to spend a lot of time with my child and really be available to her. So I gave up being a "professional"...this led me to further pursue both singing and songwriting (with my husband) and to my surprise, to focus more of my creative energy making jewelry.

I have always loved jewelry-the beauty of natural stones, colors, designs,...I just never knew I would have this much passion for it! Then out of the blue, I got hooked on beading, a la one of my favorite stores in the world, the Original Ornament, located in Carrboro, NC (see my "Links" page). I used to shop there, buying "finished jewelry", then I decided to give beading a try. Within two years, I realized "I was in it for good", and that I really loved making jewelry. I initially gave most of my creations as gifts and ended up with lots of requests from people wanting to buy more. My inventory was also now "vast" and so I realized it was time to take this more "seriously"! So, here we are...

I have jewelry in several stores in the Triangle, NC area including the NC Crafts Gallery in Carrboro, Pringles in Southern Village in Chapel Hill, Womancraft in Chapel Hill and The American Indian Company in Raleigh (also one of my very favorite stores in the world)! These are all stores I shopped in for years, greatly admiring not only the beauty of the art work and jewelry in each store, but the wonderful owners and employees. (Again, please see my "Links " page for each store).
I also love to sell at PARTIES/HOME SHOWS and to individuals too! As an appreciative gesture, folks who sponsor a home show may get cash or jewelry worth 15% of my sales.

So enough about me for now-have a look at some of the photos I've posted including family and friends on this page, and jewelry which follows, enjoy my web site and spend time with the other venues on the "Links" page. I truly look forward to talking /meeting with anyone interested in the art of beading.
